Come join award-winning writer David Kranes for his 4th Writing Workshop at Le Lavandin in the heart of Provence. This all-genre, all-levels-of-writing-experience workshop will focus on the most powerful strategies for engaging readers. What rivets us to the page? (Participants may work from a current project or from scratch.)

The day’s schedule will be very civilized. After breakfast, the 9:30-11:30 morning session will begin with a half-hour playful writing warm-up. Each day will take up a particular reader-compelling strategy-this concept followed by a writing exercise then exercise-sharing. There will be a lovely lunch. The afternoon may be spent writing/sightseeing. 4:00-5:00 we’ll re-gather and talk about a book, The Art of Possibility. 5:00-6:00: cocktails and (entertaining & surprising-non-lecture) videos which apply to the writing craft. Dinners out at various wonderful local bistros.
