A Week in Provence with
The BayTree Cooking School
20-27 July 2013
Join us, living a week of French Provencal life, at Le Lavandin in Provence. This part of France is a feast for the senses. It's reflected in the blue of its sky, the hillsides, fragrant with lavender and thyme, and the fresh flavours and beautiful colours of the food. We will explore the area taking in all that is Provencal.
From the beautiful historic villages, to the antique markets, and the magnificent lavender road. Then of course, the amazing food markets, where you will see and taste produce that will blow you away.
You will want to buy a tomato and eat it like an apple with the juice dripping down your chin as they are beautifully red and juicy. We will buy whatever is fresh for the day, and then 'mozy' back to our kitchen to create a sumptuous meal. An afternoon or two will be waiting for us to sip chilled rosé wine and crunch on crispy croutons dripping with rich dark tapenade and soft French Brie cheese as the sun goes down. So if you would like to join us, living a week of Provencal life, register with Le Lavandin.
